The 27th UN Climate Change Conference (COP27), held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from 6th to 18th November 2022, concluded with a mixture of breakthroughs and ongoing challenges. This pivotal meeting saw nearly 200 nations gather to advance global climate efforts, with significant outcomes in areas such as loss and damage funding, adaptation goals, and climate finance, despite some criticism for its limited progress on emission reductions. The Centre for Climate and Sustainability Empowerment (CCSE) was represented by the Executive Director, Mr. Kassim Hussein.
